Nashville…our home town is at it again! The 2019 NFL Draft, the 84th annual meeting of the NFL franchises to select newly eligible players will take place in Nashville April 25th-27th. This is BIG TIME…Music City was selected to play host over other finalists such as Denver, Las Vegas, and Cleveland. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday…Nashville will be buzzing with excitement, with well over 150,000 football fans & tourists visiting this coming weekend!
In true “Music City” nature, Nashville will, of course, be offering tons of free live music. The concert series will be part of the NFL Draft Experience – a free festival featuring NFL autograph sessions, exhibits, and games in downtown Nashville. A 65-foot-tall by 165-foot-wide main stage has been constructed alongside the Cumberland River at Broadway and 1st Avenue.
The festival will include two stages: the main stage on the west side of the river and the NFL Draft Experience stage on the east side of the river outside Tennessee Titan’s Nissan Stadium. The stages will hold musicians and players alike featuring your favorite stars such as: Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Lindsay Ell, Corey Davis, Demarco Murray, Taylor Lewan, Kevin Byard, Michael Griffin, Marc Mariani, Delanie Walker, Kenny Vaccaro, Tajae Sharpe, Avery Williamson, and Ryan Succop. Easily get from one stage to the other by walking over Nashville’s famous pedestrian bridge. Also you can expect fireworks on Friday and Saturday night. After the fireworks don’t miss out on the Nashville honky-tonk experience. The main strip of bars is in walking distance from both stages and is sure to be in full swing with more live music and flowing drinks.
