The padded laptop compartment is designed for devices up to 15 inches. Laptop dimensions vary by model, so screen size alone does not guarantee fit.
What is water-resistant about the coated zippers?
A protective coating on the zipper tape helps repel light rain and splashes. This describes the zippers, not a waterproof rating for the entire briefcase.
Does the briefcase have RFID protection?
Yes. A dedicated pocket in the interior organizer provides RFID protection to help protect cards against unauthorized scanning. The RFID feature applies to that pocket rather than the entire bag.
How does it compare with the Darius Slim Briefcase?
Both have laptop sleeves designed for devices up to 15 inches. The Garth has a 2-inch profile, smooth full grain leather, coated zippers, dark gunmetal hardware, dual leather-wrapped handles, and a plaid-embossed shoulder strap. After my old wallet got ran over by a lawn mower, I tried to replace it but the company that made it had been long gone. I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking for a new wallet that checked all my boxes. I gave myself essentially an unlimted budget, I didnt care as long as it met my criteria. This was the only one that came close. I have had it about a year and it has not disappointed. 0 complaints. Hopefully if this one gets run over by a lawn mower, the company will still be around and making the same wallet. Honestly I am considering getting another one just in case...
